Gayatri Ghorpade is a self-taught artist from Bangalore, India, who views her creative journey as an inner revelation. Drawing inspiration from her lived experiences, emotions, and internal states, her work reflects pure self-expression through colour, movement, texture, and energy. Avoiding conscious control, she paints on impulse—allowing ideas to flow freely and intuitively. Working primarily in abstraction, she finds liberation in its openness, using organic forms to give shape to the unseen and translating emotion into form and movement. Through her art, Gayatri searches within herself for forms and meanings that echo the emotions she experiences during the act of painting—inviting the viewer to become part of that process.
