 It turns out even traitors need friends, as Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia, 52, and Hollywood A-Lister Courteney, 59, have been pals for years. But this wasn’t known by many, as fans were surprised last year when the former Friends star helped promote applications for series two of The Traitors. In a video shared to BBC1’s social media, Claudia appeared alongside a hooded figure, who was later revealed to be Courteney, asking if she could sign up.

Then, earlier this year, the pair went for lunch in London’s Mayfair with their respective partners, Claudia’s film producer husband Kris Thykier, 52, and Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid, 47. It’s not clear how the stars became friends, but considering Courteney’s partner hails from the UK – where the couple spend half their time – perhaps the foursome met and hit it off at a swanky celeb hotspot in the capital.
