FITAG Tech EXPO sets the agenda for Gujarat's technology ecosystem

Gujarat's tech community just dropped a bold message in Gandhinagar: we're ready, we're loud, and we're building big. From sharp policy talk to cybersecurity alarms, FITAG Tech EXPO wasn't just an event, it was a wake-up call with boots on the ground

The first-ever edition of FITAG Tech EXPO unfolded over two packed days at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar and sent out a clear signal.

Gujarat's IT and ICT ecosystem is no longer on the sidelines. It is organised, vocal and increasingly confident about its national role.

Conceived by the Federation of Information Technology Association of Gujarat, the expo brought together policymakers, industry leaders, OEMs, distributors, system integrators, cybersecurity experts, startups and a young, curious audience under one roof. Over two days, the conversations moved seamlessly from policy and partnerships to cybersecurity risks and real-world preparedness.

DQ Channels was the official media partner of the industrial event, reinforcing the focus on the channel ecosystem and regional technology growth.

Day 1: Scale, intent and policy alignment

Day one opened with a sense of occasion. The participation was strong, the exhibition floor busy from the start and the intent unmistakable. FITAG's objective of creating a single, large platform for the state's technology community was visible in both numbers and diversity.

The opening ceremony saw FITAG's past and present leadership present in full strength, signalling continuity and collective intent. Founding members and former presidents shared the dais with the current executive committee, reflecting the association's broad-based support across regions in Gujarat.

The formal inauguration was marked by the presence of Rushikesh Patel, Minister of Family and Health Welfare, Gujarat, as Chief Guest and Navin Gupta, President, FAIITA, as Guest of Honour. The traditional lamp lighting set the tone for a business-focused yet culturally rooted event.
