TIKTOK NOW LETS APPLE MUSIC SUBSCRIBERS PLAY FULL SONGS WITHOUT LEAVING THE APP
AppleMagazine
|March 13, 2026
TikTok is deepening its integration with Apple Music by allowing subscribers to stream full songs directly inside the TikTok app, eliminating the need to jump out to a separate music platform.
-
The feature is designed to close the gap between discovery and listening, making it easier for users to move from a viral clip to the complete track in seconds.
The short-form video platform has become one of the most powerful engines for music discovery in the world. Songs frequently go viral through trends, dance challenges, and creator-driven edits, often translating into chart success and streaming spikes. By embedding full-track playback for Apple Music subscribers, TikTok is tightening that feedback loop.
The company said the update aims to streamline the journey from hearing a snippet in a video to experiencing the full song without interruption.
FROM VIRAL MOMENT TO FULL TRACKUntil now, TikTok users who wanted to hear a full song after discovering it in a video typically had to open Apple Music or another streaming app. The new feature allows Apple Music subscribers to access complete tracks within TikTok's interface, preserving engagement and reducing friction.
