YORK City's recent admission of giving up on the National League title may have come a little too soon after another dominant three points at the expense of Wealdstone.

Two teams fighting for different destinies met at the LNER Community Stadium with York running out comfortable winners after a professional display.

Wealdstone, who dropped into the National League relegation zone as a result of the defeat, failed to work City goalkeeper Harrison Male once.

In their defence, an illness bug had worked its way through the Stones' camp during the week, meaning that manager Neil Gibson couldn't even name a full bench.
