As a literal way of exploring the game's philosophical notion of “no destruction without creation”, it’s our means of making sense of a dream world that begins as an amorphous landscape of clouds. Shooting makes recognisable environments and objects — a house, a door, a vending machine, even other people — materialise. And it’s not only the latter who have something to say.
