A Useful Tip While Shooting for Panoramas

Most of us love creating panoramas. A panorama photo is a photo that is much wider then taller, though technically ...oops, I'm supposed to keep technicalities out of the way as much as possible! So, if the width of the photo is around twice that of the height, we could call it a panoramic shot.

imageWhile shooting for a horizontal panoramic shot, we take our first shot and overlap the second shot by about 30 - 40% and keep on doing the same till we reach the end of our visualized frame. While doing so, we must ensure that the horizon is level and runs through the center of the frame in all the shots; this makes it easier for the software to stitch the various frames.
