Chandigarh police nabs 14 proclaimed offenders in major crackdown

In a major success, the PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police has arrested a total of 14 proclaimed offenders (POs) duringa targeted operation conducted under the directions of SSPUT Chandigarh, supervised by Sh. Vijay Singh, DSP DCC, and led by Inspector Sher Singh, Incharge, PO & Summon staff.

Among those arrested:
02 accused, including one habitual offender, were held in state cases.
11 accused were arrested in cases under Section 138 of the NI Act.
01 accused was arrested under a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW).
Highlights of Major Arrests: Sagar Masih, a habitual offender involved in multiple serious criminal cases across the region, was arrested. He had been declared a PO in multiple FIRs, including:
