Action must be taken at ground level to curb spread of diarrhoea in district: DC

To review and control the rising cases of vomiting and diarrhoea in the district, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav on Monday visited the affected areas of Alipur Araian, Health & Wellness Centre, and Mata Kaushalya Hospital. She also chaired a high-level meeting with Director Health Dr. Hitendra Kaur, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sh. Paramvir Singh, and officials of the Water Supply and Sewerage Board to assess the ground situation and review the response measures.
Dr. Preeti Yadav directed all concerned departments to act promptly and effectively at the ground level to curb the spread of the disease. She emphasized that no negligence would be tolerated and ordered swift preventive action in all hotspot areas of the district.
