North Lanarkshire Council have moved to calm resident's fears after several gravestones were knocked over in Cambusnethan Cemetery.

- ROSS THOMSON

The Wishaw Press received several reports from locals after several stones were found knocked down in the cemetery.

One man said: "I feel so sorry for the families who will be forced to pick up the pieces following this.

"I would appeal to the council to lock the gates of the cemetery at night. Surely this is the time where this sort of thing happens.
