The latest on Corrie, EastEnders, Pobol and your favourite soaps...

There is tension on the Square as we witness the aftermath of Joel's attack on his stepmother this week.

Vicki is in hospital in a bad way. Ross visits her and is relieved to learn she will recover but Joel plays down the extent of the damage he's done as he asks Tommy to help him. Tommy hides his friend in the Slaters' garage, and stays tight-lipped about Joel's whereabouts when Zoe realises he might know something.

With Ross also trying to shut down the rumours his son was responsible for Vicki's injuries, will Joel manage to evade justice? Elsewhere, Teddy panics when he can't get hold of Harry, but then gets a call from his son, saying he's fine. Sadly, what he doesn't know is that Harry made the call under duress as he's being held captive by Ravi and Okie - and when Ravi then decides to take Avani on holiday, Harry is at Okie's mercy...

Speaking of holidays, Nigel sells his car so he can whisk Julie off to India.
