Man, 35, attacked lover after bed rows

A MAN who kicked and punched his partner in two separate incidents following rows in bed told her she was going to kill himself if she reported him to police, a court has heard.

Adam Walters, 35, was lying in bed with his then-partner on the evening of January 29 this year. An argument broke out between the pair and the woman turned to her side to go to sleep, thinking it would put an end to the row.
However, Walters kicked her with such force that she fell out of bed, hitting her head on the wall as she did so, resulting in bruising and the appearance of a lump on her head.
A week later, on February 5, Walters was again in bed with the complainant. A sentencing hearing at Swansea Crown Court on Thursday, July 31, was told that another row broke out, this time because the complainant said she did not want to have sex.
