Band's second donation to charity

METALLICA have made a hefty donation to a second Welsh charity after the heavy metal band broke the record for Wales' biggest ever live music event.

After a £20,000 donation to the Cardiff Foodbank, it has now been announced they donated a further £20,000 to Welsh homelessness charity Llamau.
Some 76,000 fans poured into the Principality Stadium on Sunday night, breaking the record which was previously held by Ed Sheeran after his sell-out show attracted 75,000 in 2022.
Before then the record was held by U2, whose 360 degrees tour broke records with 73,354 fans in attendance.
