F1 champion Lando makes special pit stop at old school

One world champion Lando Norris has paid a visit to his former primary school near Bristol. The driving sensation took time out of his busy schedule on Monday, flying in from Monaco to speak to children at a special assembly at Chew Stoke Church School.

He was greeted by a sea of smiling faces and waving chequered flags as he arrived.

Bristol-born Norris, 26, who was crowned world champion in Abu Dhabi in December, was brought up in Glastonbury.

He told pupils about the importance of being determined in reaching their goals, and what motivates him.
