Amber warning issued as long period of rainfall set to sweep in

AN amber weather warning for rain has been issued throughout today, which includes parts of the Bristol Channel.
-
The 24-hour alert covers much of South Wales, up to the Gloucestershire border.
The Met Office is forecasting heavy rainfall starting last night and carrying on into today, with as much as 120mm of precipitation expected in some areas.
