Tributes to star O’Hara

TRIBUTES have poured in from across Hollywood - from stars including Catherine Zeta-Jones and Macauley Culkin - to actress Catherine O'Hara, following her death at 71.

A statement from her agency confirmed she had died at her home in Los Angeles on Friday, “following a brief illness”.

O'Hara, pictured below, was best known for starring as the mother in Home Alone and her roles in Beetlejuice and later Schitt’s Creek Culkin, who starred as the actress's son in the Home Alone films, remembered O'Hara as “mama” following her death.
