Tasks set to further ease business rules
Vietnam Investment Review
|March 09, 2026
Plans have been approved to simplify thousands of administrative procedures
The government is to formulate more effective solutions, including removing business conditions, to help enterprises out of difficulties.
The government last week ordered that supporting enterprises must be one of the priorities as a measure to create a more favourable business and investment climate and achieve high economic growth.
"In recent times, administrative procedures and business conditions have been reduced and simplified, but they remain complex," stated the government in a document. "Online public services have been improved, but are still not truly convenient or seamless. The connection and integration of databases among a number of agencies and units are only at an initial stage and do not yet fully meet the requirements of being accurate, complete, clean, live, unified, and shared. These are issues that require strong and focused reform efforts in the period ahead."
In January, the government passed Resolution No.02/NQ-CP on key tasks and solutions to improve Vietnam's business climate and national competitiveness in 2026. It strongly stressed that facilitating enterprises to grow further will be among the most important tasks in the year.
