Robust domestic consumption is providing Vietnamese businesses with a vital platform to scale operations, optimise costs, and strengthen competitiveness before entering international markets.
Spanning over 100,000 square metres with 3,000 booths, the Spring Fair 2026, held in early February in Hanoi, attracted a wide range of manufacturers, cooperatives, and import-export businesses from across Vietnam. Organised on a professional scale and closely linking trade promotion with brand storytelling, the fair enabled businesses to boost sales and enhance brand credibility, showcase production capacity, and demonstrate their ability to fulfil large international orders.
Le Thanh Phu, director of Danh Vi Honey Co., Ltd., from Hung Yen province, said his company joined the fair not merely to drive Lunar New Year sales but also to expand connections and introduce its brand to international buyers.
“Every business aims to grow, scale up, and eventually export.
Displaying products at a national-level fair helps strengthen brand reputation and creates an advantage when engaging with overseas partners,” he said.
Luong Lan Chi, director of Hoang Kim Trading and Production Services from Khanh Hoa province, whose company specialises in bird’s nest products, said the firm is building direct sourcing partnerships with swiftlet house owners to secure raw materials and gradually meet export volume requirements. At the fair, the company showcased several One Commune, One Product four-star items that received strong consumer feedback.
