Jio Payments Bank unveils ‘Saving Pro’ for MF investment

Jio Payments Bank Limited, a subsidiary of Jio Financial Services, announced through a filing to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday that it has launched ‘Saving Pro’ to enable Jio customers to invest their idle funds.
The innovative feature will enable Jio customers to earn more from their idle surplus funds in their Jio Payments Bankaccount through automated investments inthe growth’plans of Overnight Mutual Funds through the fully digital JioFinance app. According to the filing, Jiocustomers would need tosetathreshold amount of their choice, starting at Rs 5000 during the initial launch phase, which will take any surplus funds in their accounts exceeding this amount and automatically invest these in select overnight mutual funds, which carry relatively lowrisk.
