|July 13, 2025
Emphasising the importance of elders in society, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Saturday said they are the foundation of communities, and it is everyone's duty to create spaces where they feel respected, engaged, and cared for.
Gupta inaugurated three newly developed recreation centres for senior citizens in the Rohini assembly constituency on Saturday and said that elders too deserve opportunities to lead a dignified life in their later years.
These new senior citizen centres are located at Dena Apartment, Sunehri Bagh Apartment, and Canara Apartment in Sector 13, Rohini, and have been built using the MLA Development Fund.
