The Blitzboks are focused on cleaning up the uncharacteristic mistakes that let them down in the absence of key playmakers and returning to the high standards that saw them dominate December's Cape Town leg.
Captain Siviwe Soyizwapi, who will play in his 62nd World Series tournament when he leads the team out at HBF Park - equalling head coach Philip Snyman’s tall of appearances ~ acknowledged the team’s frustrations but insisted they are using the Singapore setback as motivation.
The Blitzboks lost to France in Sunday’s Cup semifinal and to New Zealand in the third-place playoff. Fiji were crowned champions after beating France in the final.
