Striker Tom won't be in a reflective mood at this time...

POSTWAR record Port Vale goalscorer Tom Pope insists he doesn’t dwell on the past and will not look back on his amazing Port Vale career until much later in life.
The former Valiants goal machine remains a Vale fan but won’t look backwards, only forwards.
He wants to continue playing too but insists he doesn’t enjoy it, nor did he enjoy playing at Vale Park back in his professional days.
He explained: "I don’t enjoy it now until afterwards and we've got three points. I didn’t really ever enjoy playing to be honest. I think the pressures of your family and friends being there, especially at Vale, the club you support as well, you don’t want to let people down.
