Professional dancers who both won BBC dance show will judge fundraiser
TWO Strictly Come Dancing winners will be the star judges of a fundraising night inspired by the popular TV show.
Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova - the only married couple to have both lifted the famous glitterball trophy - will pass judgement on contestants in Strictly Knot Dancing at the King's Hall.
The event will see local people paired with professional dancers in a night of entertainment, all while raising £100,000 for the Douglas Macmillan hospice in Blurton.
It will take place on Friday, October 3 in front of an audience of more than 800 people.
Darren won series two of the BBC dance show in 2004 with actress Jill Halfpenny, before Lilia triumphed the next year with cricketer Darren Gough.
