Nominations open for annual celebration of people who 'go above and beyond' in their community
UNSUNG heroes who go above and beyond to make Newcastle a great place to live, work and visit are to have their time in the spotlight.
Nominations are being accepted for Newcastle Borough Council's fourth Borough Heroes Awards, which recognises remarkable people who make a positive impact in their communities.
The scheme is a legacy of the borough's 850th anniversary celebrations in 2023. It rewards dedicated volunteers, inspiring youngsters, community champions and good neighbours
