“FASHION is more than fabric and thread—it is a language of culture, identity, and progress,” said Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Graduation Show 2025 of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bhubaneswar, held on Friday.
Addressing an enthusiastic gathering of young designers, faculty, and parents, the Governor described fashion as a powerful form of storytelling and a medium that blends creativity with cultural heritage. “You, as designers, are storytellers, innovators, and flag bearers of this language,” he told the graduating class. “T urge you to create with purpose, embrace sustainability, and honour our nation’s rich heritage while keeping a global outlook.”
