Chief Secretary Ahuja emphasizes timely execution of rural water supply schemes

“DRINKING water is a basic necessity and must reach every household without delay,” asserted Odisha Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, as he chaired a high-level review meeting on the state's rural drinking water supply projects at Lok Seva Bhavan on Thursday.
Urging officials to prioritize timely execution, Ahuja emphasized that project schedules must be strictly adhered to in order to realize the Chief Minister’s vision of universal drinking water access.
The review meeting saw the presence of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department Administrative Secretary Girish SN, Drinking Water and Sanitation Director Vineet Bhardwaj, and senior departmental officers. District Collectors from across the state joined virtually to assess the progress of ongoing projects.
