Singapore ship rescues 3 fishermen off Mindanao Sea

A Singaporean-flagged bulk carrier rescued on Sunday three Negros Occidental fishermen whose boat capsized in the Mindanao Sea, the Philippine Coast Guard reported.

The PCG said MV Maud was sailing off Siocon in Zamboanga del Norte when its crew spotted the fishermen clinging to the sunken boat.
Hinobaan town Mayor Daph Reliquias said the three are residents of Barangay Culipapa and were earlier reported missing by their families.
