One health issue that quietly creeps in and claims lives before we even notice its signs is hypertension.

GET YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKED AND LIVE LONGER

Often without symptoms until it causes something catastrophic — like a heart attack or stroke — high blood pressure remains one of the most dangerous yet preventable threats to global health.

The Philippine Society of Hypertension (PSH) joined forces with Omron Healthcare and fellow medical advocates for the launch of May Measure Month 2025, a nationwide campaign to raise awareness, promote early detection, and encourage regular blood pressure monitoring.

Through July 31, trained volunteers and healthcare workers across the Philippines will conduct free blood pressure screenings in communities, clinics, and public spaces. Using clinically validated monitors provided by Omron, the goal is clear: help people know their numbers before it's too late.
