DESPITE high UPI transactions, the currency in circulation (CiC) continued to rise, reaching a new record high of 240 lakh crore in January, an annual growth of 11.1% as against 5.3% rise a year ago.
On net incremental basis, CiC has more than trebled to %2.76 lakh crore from %88,517 crore.
