|May 14, 2025
THE inordinate delay in completing the Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Manapuram railway level crossing on the Visakhapatnam-Raipur National Highway continues to cause daily hardships to commuters.
The level crossing, a crucial junction for those travelling between Vizianagaram and Bobbili, sees long queues of vehicles, especially during peak hours, due to frequent railway gate closures. Although the Vizianagaram District Collector BR Ambedkar had issued a strict deadline of April 15 for completion, the project remains unfinished.
