SC seeks details on pending cases against Senthil Balaji

EXPRESSING serious concern over how DMK leader V Senthil Balaji was reinstated as minister in the Tamil Nadu government days after he was granted bail in a money-laundering case, the Supreme Court on Friday noted that it was "terribly wrong" to do so.
The two-judge bench of the apex court led by Justice Abhay S Oka and Justice Augustine George Masih made these remarks while hearing a plea filed by one of the complainants in the case, K Vidhya Kumar, seeking recall of the court's September 26 verdict that released Balaji.
