CPM: Withdraw cases on protesters in Pollachi issue

CPM state secretary P Shanmugam on Friday urged the state to withdraw the cases filed against office-bearers of various organisations, including All India Democratic Women's Association, Students Federation of India and the Democratic Youth Federation of India, who staged protests demanding justice for women affected in the Pollachi case.
A delegation led by Shanmugam called on Chief Secretary N Muruganandam on Friday and submitted a plea in this connection.
