TWO persons, including a 17-year-old, were electrocuted to death in separate incidents on Saturday near Chidambaram in Cuddalore.

Police sources said, K Vinoth (17) of Koothankoil near Chidambaram was a first-year student at Government Arts College in C Mutlur. On Saturday morning, he visited Ammampettai with friends, and while attempting to retrieve a key he had dropped, he held onto an iron pipe by the roadside for support. Police said the pipe had an electric leakage, and he got electrocute
