A minor fire broke out on a railway overbridge (RoB) near Manapparai station during cable installation work above the tracks on Thursday.

As a result, the Nagercoil-Mumbai Express train was halted for about 25 minutes at Manapparai station for the fire to be put out before commencing its journey.
