BJP State president and Rajahmundry MP Daggubati Purandeswari on Sunday accused the Congress of having a disgraceful record of insulting Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.
Addressing the BJP East Godavari district workers' meeting, Purandeswari said Ambedkar illuminated the lives of the marginalized and laid the foundation for the world's largest democracy. She alleged that the Congress not only defeated Ambedkar in elections but also continuously undermined his ideals.
