Heavy rains continue to lash tribal areas of Jeypore and Koraput regions for the fourth consecutive day, severely impacting normal life.
The downpour began on Sunday and continued across various areas under both subdivisions. The region recorded about 900mm rainfall during this, averaging 64mm daily leading to an alarming rise in water levels.
