Govt Told to Take Over Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Temple Admin

FOLLOWING complaints against the administration of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara temple at MCC B Block, assistant commissioner of Davanagere Santosh has inspected the temple premises and taken stock of the situation.
Several devotees led by the Public Development Committee had made serious allegations against the temple management board, alleging large-scale corruption in monetary transactions and gifts to the temple. They had filed a plea to the district administration to take the temple into government custody. In this regard, AC Santosh and municipal officials arrived at the temple and inspected temple documents recently.
