People continue to dump garbage at undesignated spots posing danger to hygiene, aesthetic beauty of the city
DESPITE installing CCTV cameras in 35 'black spots' in the city to curb the garbage menace, some people continue to dump them at undesignated spots. This has posed a threat to hygiene of the city with stray dogs and pigs scattering the garbage in search of food.
Garbage being dumped at the end of the streets in some areas, dumped roadside and into the water canals are posing a threat to both hygiene and aesthetic beauty of the city. The sources of the city corporation said that monitoring offenders through these cameras will be done strictly.
