Thousands flock to Chamundi Hills shrine to seek blessings of goddess
THOUSANDS of devotees thronged Chamundi Hill on the first day of the New Year braving the early morning chill to seek the blessings of Goddess Chamundeshwari. The hill turned into a sea of devotees with a few even trekking the hell shrine, driven by faith and hope for a prosperous year ahead.
