Say murders over last decade linked to right-wing organisations
CRACKING the whip on leaders of right-wing organisations in the wake of back-to-back murders in the district, authorities in Dakshina Kannada on Monday booked a case against RSS leader Kallada Prabhakar Bhat and issued an externment notice against BJP leader Arun Kumar Puthila.
The police are closely watching the movements and activities of leaders of all right-wing and communal organisations as it has been assessed that all communal murders that took place in the region in the last decade have some connection with these organisations.
Bhat has been booked for delivering an inflammatory speech at a meeting organised to mourn the death of rowdy-sheeter and VHP activist Suhas Shetty, who was murdered at Bajpe near Mangaluru.
