Bengal govt to enhance solid waste management

THE West Bengal government is accelerating efforts to enhance its solid waste management infrastructure, officials said.
Work orders are in the pipeline for the development of municipal wet waste processing facilities, sanitary landfills, and material recovery facilities for dry waste, with projects currently underway at about 46 locations across the state.
