Ward delimitation completed in P'Thitta, district now has 1,099 wards

The ward delimitation process for local bodies in Pathanamthitta district has been completed, increasing the total number of wards to 1,099 from the previous 1,042.
The new figures include 833 wards in grama panchayats (previously 788), 114 in block panchayats (106), 17 in the district panchayat (16), and 135 in the municipality (132).
