Nothing ‘grand’ about grand alliance as Cong flickers and RJD flounders

BIHAR poll results show that there is nothing "grand" about the Grand Alliance or Mahagathbandhan.
The near rout of the Rashtriya Janata Dalled front by the National Democratic Alliance makes it imperative for the Opposition to re invent itself before next year's assembly elections. The grand old party, the Congress, is faced with one of its worst electoral performances in the state. Leading or having won only in six seats out of the sixty one it contested, its strike rate remained in single digits.
