IN THE BIGGEST drug seizure of the year in Kollam district, a 32-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in a joint operation by the Kollam DANSAF team and East Police for possessing 107 grams of MDMA.
IN THE BIGGEST drug seizure of the year in Kollam district, a 32-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in a joint operation by the Kollam DANSAF team and East Police for possessing 107 grams of MDMA. The accused, identified as Ajman Shah of Eravipuram, was taken into custody near Kollam railway station based on confidential information received by the district police chief, Kiran Narayanan.
According to the police, the MDMA, estimated to be worth Rs 5.5 lakh in the illegal market, was found concealed in two condoms inserted in the accused's rectum.
