Army jawan killed, two injured in landmine blast near LoC in J&K's Poonch

AN Agniveer was killed, and two others, including a Junior Commanding Officer (JCO), were injured when they accidentally stepped on a landmine the army had planted to foil infiltration bids in the Krishna Ghati sector close to the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
An army official revealed, "The soldiers accidentally stepped over a landmine planted by the army for foiling infiltration as part of a counter-infiltration grid. The landmine may have drifted due to the recent rains."
