A relentless rise in property prices, coupled with geopolitical tensions including Operation Sindoor, impacted housing sales across India's top 7 cities in the second quarter (Q2) of 2025. As per Anarock data, housing sales fell 20% year-on-year with 96,285 units sold in the quarter against 1,20,335 units in Q2 2024. However, housing sales rose 3% quarter-on-quarter. Average residential prices rose by 11% in top 7 cities. National Capital Region (NCR) led the pack in Q2, 2025 with a 27% YoY surge and a 4% quarterly
