Mumbai leads in home sales in Q3 as registration rises 6%

MUMBAI, which commands the highest real price tags in the country and is also among the dearest globally, has recorded its strongest housing sales in the last 14 years in 2025.
The property registrations rose to 1,50,254, driven by increase in end-user demand and supportive supply-side ecosystem.
According toa Knight Frank report, the housing registration in the megapolis crossed the 1.5-lakh units mark. The Maharashtra government has collected 713,487 crore through stamp duty, which is also a 14-year high, underlining strong transaction volumes and improving property values.
