K'buragi Police Bust Bike Theft Racket, Recover 29 Motorbikes

POLICE arrested three persons and recovered 29 motorbikes worth Rs 5.41 lakhs from them, said Superintendent of Police of Kalaburagi Adduru Srinivasalu here on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference here, Srinivasalu said that the accused who were arrested include Srikant s/o Ganapathi Basaiah and Abhinandan. He said that PSI of Chincholi Police Station Gangamma, while on duty in the police station, got information that a person was selling motorbikes at a much cheaper rate on the bridge near Benakipally village coming under the jurisdiction of Chincholi Police Station.
