Cong to reclaim bungalow 7 at Jantar Mantar Road

THE Congress may soon initiate 'systematic' and 'serious' efforts to take over properties belonging to the party before its split in 1969, including the erstwhile head office at bungalow number 7 on Jantar Mantar Road.
At present, Janata Dal (United) has its Delhi office in the property.
Referring to a Supreme Court judgment, Congress general secretary (communication) and Rajya Sabha MP Jairam Ramesh on Saturday announced that systematic and serious efforts would be made to take possession of party properties that were subject to legal disputes.
