CONTROVERSIES dogged 30-year-old influencer Harsha Richchariya since she arrived at the Mahakumbh claiming to be a sadhvi. Initially, she claimed to be a sadhvi from Uttarakhand (some say Jhansi), initiated by none other than Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj of Niranjani Akhara.
On Tuesday, she joined the procession of seers as they headed for Amrit Snan at the Sangam. She rode on a chariot in the Mahakumbh arena to join them. A section of sadhus made no secret of their disapproval.
